PeterHOUGHTONPeacefully on 27th February 2020 at Derriford Hospital, aged 71 years. Beloved husband of the late Wendy, much loved dad of Nick and Caroline, treasured grandad of Alexis and Finlay and a dear brother of Pam and David. Funeral Service at Callington Methodist Church on Thursday 12th March, at 11am, followed by private burial. I knew Pete from 2004 when he first volunteered on the archaeological excavations I directed at Morwellham Quay Museum. After that, he was a regular and reliable member of my digging team, up to the end of excavations there in 2009. I was delighted when he subsequently took up archaeological consultancy, and remember with fondness helping him with his work on the New Quay limekiln turntable in about 2014.

I shall miss him very much.

I plan to come to the funeral on Thursday, I hope this is ok?
